Meet Richard Orr: The Software Development Manager at Anota!
We're putting the spotlight on our amazing team members at Anota, and this week it's Richard's turn! Rich has been at Anota since July 2019, and in that time he's grown from a Software Developer to a Software Development Manager.
So Richard, what do you do at Anota?
"I fix everyone else’s problems...”
“Joking aside, I design, code, test, and maintain software applications that address the needs of our users.”
Beyond the code, what keeps you busy?
Outside of work, Richard enjoys reading books and gaming.
What's one piece of career advice you hold dear?
"Don't judge a program by its GUI. There's a whole world of data behind the scenes, and just because you can see something as a normal user, doesn’t mean that data is available through the API and just because it is available doesn’t mean it makes sense.”
And finally, what accomplishment are you most proud of?
"Creating the VertoSuite Line Items Suite with my team would be my greatest to date.”
