Anota Join The National Manufacturing Debate!

Anota | Manufacturing | Industry 4.0

Anota representatives travelled down yesterday to Cranfield University for the annual national manufacturing debate. This event brings many professionals from all over the manufacturing sector to talk and debate about all the current issues and challenges brought to the industry, whilst also encouraging networking and collaboration to help the long term growth and sustainability of the companies in the sector.

Some of the topics talked about yesterday included:

 - What is the current UK Manufacturing skills requirement across sectors? And how do we compare against G7 countries?
 - How the skills requirement is going to change in the future?
 - Do we have the right leadership to provide the skills to the UK Manufacturing companies?
 - Are we investing enough to deliver the future skills requirement?
 - What should we do to achieve the skills required for UK Manufacturing?

We have made sure to include ourselves in this event because we want to help the long-term growth of manufacturing companies with our solution. We want to be able to provide an end-to-end solution that will be able to support businesses across each of their sectors in the management of any documents which is consistent throughout. This is in our effort to support Industry 4.0, we want to help manufacturing business step up that extra level.

We believe that we can help manufacturing companies make that step up by introducing this original, bespoke piece of software. It will undoubtedly assist in smoothing out some of the bumps in the manufacturing process. At the event the importance was stressed about the involvement in science & technology especially in digitisation and software automation. As a result, the Government are investing £23billion in science & technology. UK manufacturing is so important because it contributed around £208 billion to the economy in 2014, and that is 13.5% of the UK economy.

We believe through our system, we can help those businesses looking to progress by backing Industry 4.0. Between 2008 and 2015, the ship, boat and aircraft sector shows the highest growth. This very much aligns with our beliefs as we are looking at helping each of these sectors in their own right to grow through our solutions. These business process solutions will be beneficial to any company that has reached the point where it takes to much time to process documentation. Our business process solutions help reduce time spent searching for and processing documents, they will also help companies in saving thus relieving funds to progress the business in other areas too.

Production is only one aspect of manufacturing, it also comprises of design, research, support (services) activities. At Anota, we can cover all areas of the chain and we can link them all in an end-to-end system. This not only helps the automation of systems on a front line level, but it will help them throughout each sector, this is why it is amongst what is regarded as Industry 4.0, it is not only because it helps in automation in the manufacturing side, but it helps link it together through all areas of the business.
